PFFC requests that the Mayor and City Council increase overall spending in the District’s FY 2021 budget to a total of $1 billion to reflect improved investments for programs that produce and preserve housing for DC’s low income residents.  The breakdown is as follows:

  • $250 million for the Housing Production Trust Fund (HPTF)
  • $250 million for the Local Rent Supplement Program (LSRP)
  • $250 million to repair, preserve and produce additional public housing units of which: $125 million for repairs and $125 million for additional public housing units.
  • $250 million to fund housing interventions in the Homeward DC Strategic Plan
