On this, our 12th Anniversary, we have much to be grateful for starting with the support that so many of you continue to give usWe are proud of our accomplishments during this past year, among them: a successful 2019 Vigil to honor and remember those who died in 2019 without the dignity of a home; the opportunity — through our active participation in many ICH Committees, providing testimonies at numerous DC Council hearings, providing input into the DC Comprehensive Plan — to raise our voice on the right to affordable housing for all DC residents; paving the way for piloting two programs to provide clean, safe public restrooms for everyone in needed areas of the District.
A number of you provided generous donations to PFFC last December on the occasion of our 2019 Vigil. We realize that the COVID-10 health emergency has brought severe economic consequences for many.
